a. Channel Strip

This is the place where receive audio signal from microphone, electric guitar or other external source like cd player through channel strip.
b. Master Control
This is the central monitor, you can quickly control total sound as well as setting relates to monitoring.
Master control area is usually on the right of mixer, can be medium or small size and in between with big mixers.
c. Audio Meter
Audio Meter is lines of signal led. Its function is to measure strength of output and input signal. It usually lays above channel strip or in the area of master control, sometimes it is integrated at channel input.
With small and cheap mixer, you won’t see the lines of led but one led for each channels, green is weak signal, orange is better, yellow and red show increasing strength signal.
